Summary: Paul almost felt sorry for his friend and the way he needed booze so much to forget whatever it was that so often became too much for John to bear.

A/N: This fic is to say thank you and sorry to everyone who appreciates my stuff and supported me. You guys are the best! Also, thank you vandonovan  for being really nice and reminding me of this place.

 Guys, there were so many supportive messages that I don't even know what to say. Of course they made me extremely happy when I read people didn't want me to stop writing, but I confess that besides making me happy, all this just makes me ashamed that things got to this point.

 I'm sorry if I upset anyone who appreciates my stories. It was not my intention to make you guys have a bad day about all this drama. Leaving JHP was a strangled decision made by a "feisty"  (right, Maga? ;-))  girl. I do take things personally and I hold grudge when I believe I'm treated unfairly, and I believe that I'm entitled to feeling bad over what happened in JHP in past days.

 However, I do think there are far more important things to be dealt with now, such as getting the community back. 

 When things get sorted out with JHP, I'll join again. When I left, I became unable to see my locked fics, and it shattered my heart not being able to access fics like "rock 'n scars". Those comments there always make me smile, and it was devastating that for moment I actually thought that I had somehow deleted it all by leaving.

 Anyway, about the fics... I thought "vandovan" was really nice about reminding me of beatlesslash, and I'll take up on the offer. I'll post fics there until things are back to normal in JHP, and then, when I go back, I will link the fics posted in the beatlesslash in the meantime.  I hope to see you guys there in beatlesslash for a while.

 You know, I didn't want to post anything, but I think it was Shakespeare that said that "holding grudge is like taking poison and hoping someone else will die."  Well, I don't want to punish myself, because it hurts not posting the stuff I have already written and want to share.

 And Olivia did say something true:  by not posting anymore I'm just inconviniencing the only people that truly matter to me, which are the ones who appreciate my fics.

 So I'll be posting something to beatlesslash soon, because I want to thank you guys for the kind words, but also because I want to apologize to you for what I've caused, and I don't know a better way to do this other than offering you a fic.

 I've left Johnheartpaul. 

Remember when I was asked to lock Rock 'n Scars because if someone reported the community it could be shut down because of the violent content in it? BULL SHIT.

I was in LJ last night and out of nowhere decided to read their abuse policy, and here's what it says:

A user has posted content which incites, encourages, or advocates pedophilia, the abuse of children in any way, or the act of rape.

Which I couldn't agree more, because hell, these sorts of behavior shouldn't happen! But last time I checked, R'nS was NOT a celebration to rape, it was the opposite, it showed how destructive and wrong it was.

The only problem Live Journal had with my fic seems to have been Johnheartpaul-related.

I think a lot of slash is like, written pornography (with a bit of contrived romantic filler) (at least the "NC-17" stuff)


Yes, there are many "porn without plot" fics. I've written quite a few and I enjoy them. (even if I don't agree with the term PWP)

However, there's plenty of NC-17 slash with a real plot. Just because there's sex - graphic sex - it's not the same as written pornography.


So perhaps I should say that I don't make love to my boyfriend, I make pornography to him. Or even sex. Instead of having sex with him, I'll have some pornography. Because really, in the end it is a matter of "sticking it in..."

I like to think there's a line which can be drawn between sex and pornography. In a relationship like John/Paul, for instance, and their level of intimacy, writing about a sexual moment between them just doesn't feel like porn at all. And it doesn't mean fluffy butterflies and lil' hearts either. C'mon, people, stop seeing sex as ugly and shameful.

Between two people that care for each other there's no room for porn.

Is it sad how much I can relate to this?? lol
